It's implied he was introduced early on. That mysterious man who I thought first was the nice mugo who likes sweet -was actually him. He told our Mc to bring something sweet the next time they meet, so that Mc can bring forth the nice mugo and doesn't get eaten when he got sacrificed. Be got spared becuz of it and even got protection from the nice mugo when the angry one wanted to off him,
