I know what you mean but he did hurt Jaekyung technically speaking by leaving him and drinking himself to death, worrying him with sleep walking etc.
He wasn't doing it maliciously obviously unlike Jaekyung but they did hurt each other no doubt.
See, I thought of those moments too, but comparing these actions Dan did while depressed, when he didn't have contact with jaekyun, or just by ending his work, cause he still thought of not being a burden or imposing, to literally rape and diferent levels of abuse just feels straigh up wrong man /gn
You are right... but suffering of one (even if greater) doesn't diminish the suffering of another.
Jaekyung deserved pain and misery no doubt but he got hurt as well by Dan's actions.
I get the whole let's not invalidate feelings, BUT I SWEAR I AINT SEEING THE HURT cause Dan never did anything malicious, he always did it for other people's sake, why are we blaming him for following his contract and leaving or for being self destructive and drinking when he had gotten kicked out? I'd have gotten it if he ever had snapped back at jaekyun but even after everything he suffered he gave legit support and validation to his abuser. If jjk suffered it was pure guilt and remorse, but Dan had no hand in that naaaaah
