I thought the ML just wanted the child...? I'M CONFUSED

Ml liked mc from the beginning, but since mc makes lots of assumptions and both of them have lack of communication, ml is currently just lying that he's doing stuff only for the baby just so he can be with mc and try to get him to love him.
