Na its more complex....cause the way uncle said minyoung is more like him which means they are both have unhealthy obsession with their partner as we saw in the beginning how minyoung is. So uncle's unhealthy obsession might be the reason why she killed herself. Cause u cannot escape a crazy obssesive partner and killing seems to be the only escape so THATS MY THEORY
Noo, i genuinely feel that she'd rather die than be with this man to the point she hanged herself by the doorknob LIKE WHAT how can one die from that like every person has that ine instinct to live so ro prevent that they hangthemselves from something high so that when the instinct kicks in there really is no way for you to survive so THE FACT THAT SHE HANGED HERSELF FROM THE DOORKNOB like she could've easily get herself out of like shows how much she hates that man or uncle to the point that she'd rather escape from him through death.. And also the note she wrote before killing herself, "Don't even think of following me." Like omg this man is diabolical and we just don't know it yet

At first, I took it at face value—she committed suicide because he was so obsessive towards her that that was the only way she found escape. But the constant comparisons between him and miyoung and the fact that miyoung was going to strangle Cheol with a rope after cheol ran away from him post outing… hm
I don’t know what the papers say under the sticky note but they could’ve been signed divorce papers or restraining order? Lmk
