How so many ppl hyped this up i will never understand from someone who was there for the very first release to every update. Weak in comparison to her debut work and even that was iffy but compared to this it's a work of art. I think JK should had more of a remorse/redemption arc to make us sympathize and root for him more. Also tbh Kim Dan just gets on my nerves the whole hes a perfect angel he won't blame anybody else hes so forgiving im tired of it. Cuz tbh in this day and age those type of people are rare gems who won't fault someone when GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, RA***D, ABUSED, BELITTLED, ETC. He was Mary Sue or I dunno whats the name for generic good soul who forgives everything and can do no wrong? That's Kim Dan. And honeslt he should have made JK work it more or never forgive him but ofc finds it in himself to forgive him and fall in love with him like some Stockholm syndrome shiii. Im high rn now im just on a rant cuz like the mc even realisticly those type of people are so rare to find and if anything theyre not realistic anymore cuz what MC put up with was abuse. So to fawn over him once he treats with an ounce of respect vs. The shiiii he put u through is enough for you to say he's different now is baffling. AND THEN THE GMA PASSES (FINALLY SORRY NOT SORRY) when she was an main part of why MC even put up with such extreme conditions and abuse. This was so horrible tbh. If maybe they h a d had 20 chapters of seeing how JK takes care of him and becomes sweeter and puppylike like in the previews we see which honestly they looked up forums and got a general idea of what they looked like and missed the mark
