p sure cuntboy (and its counterpart dickgirl) have been tags for a loooong time, easily 10+ years old. you could check how old the pixiv tag is to get an estimate on the japanese side. it just took some time to gain popularity. it's like how ABO was around for ages in the fanfic/slash fiction space before mangas and manhwas caught on. same with guideverse, which was originally sentinel/guide but the sentinel part got lost when it blew up, as well as them having like spirit animals. although the spirit animals might have been a danmei variation of the trope... fandom history is fascinating.
