Could but earlier chapters showed he came back for Kwon, though since this is supernatural couldve been a spirit or hallucination but I doubt it
Maybe he came back after he turned into what he is now
I always wondered why he seemed so child like & that’s because everything happened to him as a child, most likely he died as a child.
