I don't think some readers are being OA or yapping without a reason. Some readers are only asking uploaders (not even old or known uploaders are uploading this author's work) or scanlation groups to stop because they know what happened before with Dal Hyeonji's (other authors too) works . The author has made it pretty clear they're against illegal uploads (big talk since I'm reading illegally), which is why some of their other works aren't even on Mggo and is literally banned in bato before
A lot of newer readers probably don't know the story before, so you/they see those comments and think some are overreacting. But for readers who have been around for a while, they're just trying to avoid the same thing happening again or may want mggo to be around for a few years.
And the other sites you may be talking about aren't exactly big or popular sites. The fact that chapters are still up there doesn't mean Dal Hyeonji is okay with it. They're just smaller sites that get less attention, so it's harder for the author to deal with every single upload. But mggo is more known and is possibly easy to trackdown and takedown (bato is around for a lot of years but got takendown this year)
