The only thing is, why is it that chiharu is always getting kidnapped? I guess she’s the classic “damsel in distress” character.
Spoilers: - - - - - Okay I just checked the reviews of the novel. So it’s confirmed, chiharu is treated as more of the main character and maki is like a support character. Chiharu is the one getting kidnapped 24/7, while maki got kidnapped once WITH chiharu.
I guess it’s true that they favor the dainty and long haired maiden- as per usual :/
On another note the relationship pairings is chiharu x Aeris (the elf they met in the beginning). Maki x Caidel (the dwarf prince they meet in like chapter 6). Though the end of the novel shows maki and caidel starting off as friends promising to date in the future. It seems more like chiharu’s relationship with aeris is more confirmed, since aeris is supposedly clingy and all over her, which maki and causal even pointed out.
