Lol I read the novel and the way I remember it, the uke ends up chasing the seme.
He thought the seme hates him so he abandoned him but we find out that the it was because seme's father died and he went back to his funeral. The uke goes to the funeral and gets suprised and happy that he's not abandoned and later fixes himself and gets a job and becomes mature and they live together.
Not father but grandfather. He has a grandfather in the countryside and he goes back to his grandfather's funeral. T

I'm all in for an slow burn but 44 chapters and the top barely acknowledges him, i just hope charcoal guy ends up chasing myungsun if we get an angst arc
