The odd thing is: Grayson doesn't follow common sense. He 100% doesn't understand why what he did was wrong nor why that would traumatise someone. In his own twisted logic he was taking good care of his brother since no one else gave a crap about his health.
The wost part: Without Grayson he would very much have died. Grayson is very proud of keeping his brother alive even if he has some suicidal thoughts sometimes (as far as we know, he never tried to kill himself, but he is very careless with his health).

When? I remember him trying to shot the paparazzi, then puting the gun on Josh's face. And if i'm not mistaken he would have killed Josh too if the gun wasn't out of bullets already. He also tried to drawn Josh later on... There was also the time Josh offered to kill Gray and Chase said the only one he wanted dead was himself. But to actually try to kill himself? The closest thing to that was his overdose on meds but that was more of a careless issue. There didn't seem to have the intent of dying there.
