They took for granted her charity foundation and as soon as the Prince betrayed her and destroyed her reputation, they turned against her (and she worked a lot for them btw).
Also you forgot that the Prince was behind criminal wars during the Sarjan conflict where civilians were killed and women raped... and without proofs the kingdom and the Prince would never have been punished.

Im at chapter 16. I can excuse everything that happened till now. But this is too far for me to even consider her justified in her revenge at this point. Politics, war , infighting, and sef defense i can understand. But killing with the justification that the harm to innocent people only to curse someone to take a childs life....... this is a level of hypocrisy i cant fathom. Im all for morally corrupt protagonist if the story itself frames what they do as corrupt. But nothing that happened to her justified this and the story acts like her hurt feelings and revenge is justification enough to support her
Most of these people who are defending her, just wants to get off on the goring killing, regardless if they deserve it or not.
Then hide it under the frame of " Yeah, but her approach is more interesting."
My level of disgust for her is equivalent of finding out that a friend of mine who's been wronged by her cheating ex boyfriend, decicdes to kill his dogs and puppies just to get back at him.
Would you actually think that's justified or be disgusted and horrofied?
It's not better to call her psychopath/sociopath you know ? "She's a psycho and I don't support psycho." or "She's a psycho and I love psycho protagonists."
Also, what did you exactly expect of a protagonist who declares chapter 1, she will take revenge on kingdom ? Taking down a kingdom involves cusualties, no matter what, sooner or later it would have happened, children and civilians would have been killed because of her, be it onscreen or offscreen. The author chose to actually show the casualties and civilians deaths. This moment is my favorite in the series, not because I approve what Elizabeth is doing (I actually do not approve her), but because I like the fact the author has balls to write a scene like that.

What a total c***?I don't understand why people rooting for her. Committing genocide is not good people. You want revenge, fine! Go after those who wronged you, but don't involve innocent men, women and children who took no part in hurting you. Imagine if you were one of these locals in the kingdom minding your own business, never once hurt anyone and then you get killed off because some f*cking crazy bitch wants to get back at her ex. This is pure shit and so are the people who like it.
