now that i've read all the chapters i think it's safe to say this adaptation won't let the novel readers down. there's so many hints in the panels to future events/characters, so it's clear the manhwa team has actually read the novel if they're foreshadowing stuff from the get go. i assume it's also to pull novel readers in as a reassurance that this adaptation will be mostly faithful. the art is AMAZING. love how faithful the descriptions are to the novel—even the fact that manager lizard looks like a lizard all of the time because that's how soleum narrates him! i know people were excited to see his face but i think it's more true to the novel this way. soleum's gap moe is properly depicted as well so gold star there. and that one panel of the disaster management bureau gave me a glimpse of YOU KNOW WHO many years in advance soooo overall im pretty happy with how this is going!! to new readers: stick with it and let the story pick up pace. it will NOT let you down.
