Honestly I get why it’s frustrating but I also find it strange we get so mad over things that just… make us human?
We assume, we act irrational, we make mistakes, we are stubborn and resilient—it’s what makes us human. So yes, it is annoying the ML love-bombed, it is annoying the MC & ML doesn’t communicate but it is things we all do by accident or immaturity. Yeah they’re adults but the brain fully develops at 25, and they’re still undergrads. Why do we expect every person to have to be perfect, that would remove what makes it so akin to normal life.
I think we all get mad because we don’t fully realize we do that in our lives, or that people around us create problems over little or big things all the time.
Honestly, to give so much attention and love, in obvious way, uncommon to himself to be asked to his face by the very one he loves to remain friends, and that he would help him find his true love? That would be painful to anyone, especially a man like ML who usually doesn’t act like this for someone. Things like this happen all the time in friendships/situationships
Now I’m not saying that it’s wrong to be mad or frustrated, or that how impatient and love-bombing the ML was, isn’t something he is guilty of, I just hope we can try to understand characters at a human level rather than an omnipresent level. I just find it strange so many people dog on miscommunication, stubbornness, or poor decision-making, when I am very sure we have all done such a thing in our lives. We are not perfect, and a perfect character who makes perfect decisions has no depth or value to them.
