I think he does acknowledge the fact that they were currency and I think Taesun is not opposed to Geumryang fulfilling his wish, he just doesn't want Geumryang to sacrifice himself in anyway that could hurt him or shorten his lifespan as a god just for the sake of the babies which Taesun has accepted as theirs.
Lowkey Taesun is being a hypocrite. He also saw the babies as currency in the beginning. If he changed his mind that’s great but he can’t act high and mighty as if he never thought that. Like at least acknowledge it
