Junmin does know by now that Yugyeol is Woojoo Hyung. If I remember the novel correctly, then he realizes it as soon as he gets to the past. But at the latest when he sees Yugyeols face with the burn marks.
The younger Junmin ran out the gate and found the center people to bring back to the gate. The younger and current Junmins never meet, because one’s leaving the gate and the other is coming from inside the gate. So they never cross paths.
Tho Yugyeol does ask current Junmin if they should stay a bit longer so that his past self doesn’t have to suffer through the painful search of Woojoo Hyung.
Current Junmin doesn’t want that tho.
