no i agree, it’s so backwards. i’m never usually a fan of pregnancy in omegaverse in the first place, but using such oppressive, old fashioned bs to move the plot along is so jarring. i probably won’t continue cause of the pregnancy anyway, especially if the ml wants the baby but mc doesn’t or some other shit like that, but it just feels like a waste of good art imo. don’t get me wrong, i’m sure some people like it and that’s fine, but it’s just not for me as it is.
You used the word I was looking for- this plotline is SO backwards. If you’re going to create a world that is fictional and have men give birth/omegas existing, etc- then why would you bring in this old ass theory that anyone other than the mother/person giving birth is entitled to their body? Really disappointing.

I really don’t appreciate the author’s use of “the dad needs to know before you terminate” just to get their plot moving. I understand this is fiction, obviously, but that level of thinking is so fucked up when an omega (or pregnant person, in the real world) should have the right to choose what happens with their body.
I know I’m being sensitive, but this irked me.
