No no no....being human and the invention of church is weird. Cuz why do we have to feel overwhelming shame and fear because people are having sex. We're the only mammal on this planet that is like "oh, not there. Someone said sex is evil, and there's an afterlife." Sex and desire is so human, but so is the fear of the uknown and unseen. We don't even know if we actually have what we've theorized as a soul. Yet, even if we aren't religious this book got us feeling "damned." Like, is this conditioning, or intuition???
