I'm happy I started this when like... maybe chapter 80 was out?? idk but I was really late to reading this. Can't even imagine putting up with this for years to get a shit ending. Is it shit? Yes? Did I expect anything more? Nope.
My thoughts when reading the final chapter: "Tsk... I don't know what that doc sees in you" Me neither
"Be happy y'hear? You deserve it" No he does not
"You already make me feel so loved" How??? I haven't seem this guy do anything after you shanked how am I supposeed to know how he loves you??
"Or start was a bit rocky" A bit???
"So we both ended up hurting each other in ignorance" ???????????????????????????? This depends on who's saying the final mponologue (99% sure it i kim dan) If it was kim dan he needs to get a grip on reality and if it was jaekyung he needs to stop that copium being like he hurt me too ffs
In terms of torture and like.... being mean to their partner jaekyung is actually rather tame (if you would believe it) But this was popular a probably a lot of people's first time reading this genre. So while I do get the sentiment of being pissed off abt an ending I'm also kind of like "What did you expect??" Cuz there are very few stories who get this type of plot right, don't make the mc spineless and make the partner actually reflect and take time to themselves. (Would prefer if the mcs would get together in like... any manhwa/manga of this genre cuz what do u mean I'm living and and being chummy with the person who raped and psycologically tortured me multiple times. I can't even imagine a scenario like that)
Well anyways glad it's over. I've never tried BJ alex before but I might give it aa shot when I'm bored. Till then I'm just gonna go read something a bit more wholesome
