I think ppl are misunderstanding the doc a lil. She said, the partner needs to be "aware" of the pregnancy. She didn't say that he needs the "consent" of the partner to abort the baby. Nonetheless, the plot is shit cus bringing them closer js cus of a baby is so... forced?
