I don’t think he should shorten his life just yet. His kids are infants and we don’t really know how fast the demigods will grow. What happens if he dies before the kids are ready to take over the job of being a god of the mountain? They will have no guidance and we can’t always be relying on my hubby (the fox) to come and rescue them! I think he should wait until they have some idea of how fast the kids are growing compared to normal human kids and THEN they can make their decision of if they can be fully fledged before the two parents croak. I’m not against him shortening his life at all but it’s unnecessary to think about when we have literal breastfed babies to focus on and take care of. I’m surprised they have enough leisure time to talk tbh.
