its been a while since i read it but they go to an amusement park tgt with peter (they book the entire amusement park, so normal lol) and they bond there a lil. chase tries his best to connect with peter and its absolutely adorable. they also trauma bond tgt and chase faces his own fear to save peter from dogs
Yeah chase saves pete from wild dogs n when Josh asks why he did that chase replies "cuz pete is ur son n is imp to you". Something along those lines.
May be you should read the novel cause I don't know how to explain because the novel have its own flow that I can't put into words.

If your asking what happen afterwards . Chase throws joshs suppressants and demand him to spend his heat with him and they do bomshakalaka . I think it's the morning after this , chase asks joshua who marked him and tells him he will kill them and talks Abt pete saying 'she is the mother of your kid right'(from nisha conversation with frgt his name) and saying don't go to her and stuff . Then a omega girl (I think the omega from the party) threatens chase and try to shoot him but henry get shot instead and the girl says it's all because of chase . Then chase takes the gun and aims at his own head that's when joshua comes and throw the gun and take chase away . And there chase crys so much and says he love joshua . Seeing him like that joshua asks him if he want to meet pete . And chase book and entire amusement park. And there the three of them spends time . Josh leaves the two of them alone for them to get to know eachother. And both of them walks together but suddenly a dog barks and chase go all still. When he comes to sense pete was already gone . Both chase and Josh start to look for pete . Chase get to pete first . But pete was in a river? (I think it's a river or smthng flowing). But there was a dog near him . But chase guilty and wanting to save pete overcomes his fear and saves pete. Joshua comes and ask why he gone that much length to save pete and chase tells him "it's your son" and Joshua says" he's our son . Yours and mine' and explain the whole situation including his misunderstanding of having sex with dog . That's the end . Then epilogue

The novel is so much better bro. I don't know I prefer novel more . Chase was actually almost sa'd by few omegas, and when joshua asks chase who hit him chase point to one of the kidnappers and Joshua beat them to shit and gives chase a look and smile aaaghh it was so beautiful. Seth and the others where confused by joshuas odd behaviour. Chase smiles at joshua after that ass kicking . And the ride back home after the mark reveal was so silent that all of them choose to stay silent because Joshua was looking at chase through the rearview mirror.... Aagh I fking love the novel.
