i know i feel like weve barely made any progress
The story takes its time but in my opinion it is definitively going somewhere. If it's too slow-paced for you then it's totally okay, you don't have to continue ! But I've read up until the most recent scanlated chapter and a lot of important things happen that do move things forward. There's just a big web to untangle and lots of characters involved.
The mother-daughter relationship started out extremely imbalanced so yeah, the daughter takes a loooong time to gather the allies and puzzle pieces she needs to take down her mother. She'll get there eventually, but a lot has to happen first.
TLDR : up to now, has the daughter reversed the power dynamic with her mom ? No. Is the story worth reading, still progressing and going in interesting turns ? Yes, in my opinion. Continue if you want, don't force yourself to read :)
It kind of feels like the plot is going nowhere. I’m up to 157, and there hasn’t really been a big shift since like….the backstory section. The power dynamic between mother and daughter is basically the same….should I continue?
