In order for it to be successful it's different from an animal, a kid and an adult. You have to based it on where try inflict pain the most that would make them shiver down their spine and where that is in particular is childhood trauma , but from the very start this is considered ineffective since Pavlov's theory can only be used in a different scenario, it's mostly effective on children or those who're in fear, if you used that in a person who cannot inflict fear cause he either trust the person that they won't harm them much or he knows he can trust himself out of that situation then it's definitely a fail. I'm scared of professional psychologist.
