Yknow what, I actually enjoy this take on a super cliche. Taeshin is introduced via rumors and our perception of him is shaped by them, but he consistently acts in ways that defy those rumors. He’s obsessed, desperate, and slipping into madness wanting to keep Wonwoo close. Outside of their first time, he’s attentive, caring, and openly affectionate to Wonwoo and his siblings. Meanwhile Wonwoo is constantly living in fear of the day Taeshin grows tired of him simply because he’s heard that Taeshin is a man that can’t commit to anything or anyone. And I love how grounded Wonwoo is and how he tries to explain his point of view while still trying to convey his own love to Taeshin. Right now it feels like they’re both trying to balance on a single thread and I’m wondering who will cause the snap to occur first.
