I think it's wise that Joshua doesn't spill the beans about Pete just yet. I mean yes, I could see how it would be beneficial if he did so, since then there would be no more secrets between him and Chase, but. But. Chase is still very traumatized from what his brother put him through and it's been clearly stated that Chase hates omegas overall. So. If Josh tells him right now, after the revelation that has Chase already shaken, it could potentially lead to Chase shutting down completely and declaring he has no desire to proceed his relationship with Josh and even go so far as to say something like: “ I don't ever wanna see you again and that child you claim to be mine. ” Which Josh, and us the readers, wouldn't want so it's wise that he stays quiet about Pete for now and gradually work towards allowing Chase to find out that he's his other father. Like say, Josh could bring Pete around sometime during the job and it could go from there, he could avoid the questions about who actually made the mark on him and reveal that it was Chase all along throughout the chapters etc.
