Many might not sympathize with Miller, but at the end of chapter 91 of the novel, it was the first time I cried for him. The scene was incredibly moving when he confessed his feelings for the first time, confused and scared, experiencing those emotions for the first time. Everyone deserves love, no matter what; even those with mental health issues didn't choose to be that way.
i will always sympathize with him :( i definitely see some neurodivergent tendencies in his character and it’s sad how this is almost like a realistic portrayal of how society frames neurodivergence as psychotic
