Cecil and Hyunjae are geniuses with the greatest amount of power and are bored with life enough to tear it all down because they can but haven’t yet because they’re entertained by the heroine, Yoojin in this case. The stories are similar in that, only the heroine/Yoojin are able to save the male leads from a tragic ending. Both Yoonjin and Bertia have knowledge of the past and want to give the male lead a happy ending. With Bertía’s guidance Cecil’s able to gain autonomy and help make a better future for everyone, similarly Yoojin is guiding Hyunjae to make better choices. He has shown Hyunjae that he knows enough about future events to be trusted. Bertia’s able to just tell Cecil she knows the future. Cecil is always trying to push Bertia’s romantic boundaries to see if she’s ready for more. Like how Hyunjae is always flirting in a way that shows he’s always ready to actually be in some kind of relationship with Yoojin if he were able to.

I’ve been seeing edits say that this is usually just your average action manhwa until Hyunjae gets on the screen and then it immediately becomes a BL. I hadn’t quite noticed it until this chapter. Their relationship reminds me on the anime “ An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess”.
