I once said on Facebook that Kim Dan is delulu and someone was about to fight me saying that "he's in love!! How could I say that about him?!"

So yeah.

It is devastating to watch Kim Dan sink into such a deep depression. It hurts because Dan is naturally so kind. Seeing someone you love suffer through these episodes leaves you feeling completely helpless. Even someone as seemingly heartless as Joo Jaekyung would feel the sting of it. Jaekyung isn't completely devoid of feelings. He simply doesn't know how to handle emotion or how to love someone better. But watching Dan slip away into that dark place would break something inside him, too. No matter how tough he acts, pain like that still leaves a mark.
