while i think it ultimately worked out for an alright ending i hope they dont drag the "he killed my brother for no reason" like they did in the novel. i understand it served narrative purpose showing hajuns selflessness and nayoons character but it frustrates me whenever theres long misunderstanding arcs especially because she ended up doing some reincarnation thing iirc bc she wasnt able to find out about why he did what he did in the current timeline (its been awhile since i finished the novel though so please correct me if im wrong). not saying this as a genuine "itd be better if they did this because the original served zero purpose and was bad writing" but it just hurts
