I think it’s like a problem with time dilation. No amount of explaining will make them understand that not that much time has passed. It’s just because it takes time for chapters to come out. I swear to you that if it was resolved in the time they wanted it to be resolved in, and then they reread the whole thing a year later, they’ll be complaining about how fast the problems get resolved, because they just binged 100 chapters, instead of of waiting 2-3 weeks for the next chapter.
Honestly! Not every problem can be resolved in a chapter. She's obviously stronger and didn't feel the need to bother with the ants until they messed with her people. The build up to her revenge makes it that much more impactful.
