i dont remember the manga but first off this was a general rant not being specific to this. also chasing around for 10 or more chapters doesnt make a good redemption arc for me, they dont suffer nearly enough physical and mental pain they make the uke go through and ur wording “chase” as if the uke completely dismisses the seme in which they almost never do
