It wasn’t Seunpyo that made the post ofc, and he did honestly confess. After the exams Jaemin was confused as to why Seunpyo kept trying to be lovey dovey and broke up with him while revealing that he accepted the confession to get back at him. Seunpyo got really pissed and called him selfish and weird for playing with his feelings like that and stormed out the room. Jaemin realized he had it all wrong and chased after him then got so desperate he offered to have sex with him to try to get back in his good graces. Seunpyo called him a whore and Jaemin said fine I’ll be a whore which only angered Seunpyo more. Seunpyo told Jaemin he should value himself more he shouldn’t agree to be a “whore” just cause he was called one and told him that he wanted to have sex with him because he likes him and kept walking away. Then he stopped and asked Jasmin if he was serious, he said yes then Seunpyo set a condition that he’d consider forgiving him if Jaemin went over to his house for the weekend for them to have sex and said whether Jaemin didn’t show up even if it’s because he didn’t want to or his parents didn’t allow him he’d take that as an extension of how sorry he is. Jaemin does show up and they do have sex, Seunpyo does ultimately ask for consent twice I think one was for fingering I might be wrong but the second was for the real thing and Jaemin wanted him both times although he was nervous he did genuinely want to. Seunpyo made it seem like he’d punish Jaemin but folded immediately he stopped being upset pretty quick even before the day of sex, he was planning stuff out cleaning his room and bought the uke flowers and a candle looool there was even a point he was thinking that he didn’t like that their first time was under those circumstances. The novel as a whole is very well written not cringey, and realistic asf. Not sure if yall care but I appreciate when BL stories acknowledge the prep work before the act and describes how the uke feels pain before it’s pleasurable. Just my two cents but yeah their dynamic is just so well written Jaemins backstory ended up being more complex than I anticipated.
