i had read the novel a while back but i have to say that i believe it doesn’t do the novel justice. however since the translations were messy, i could just be putting it in a higher pedestal due to my imagination

what bothers me isn’t the art style change but the way the story seemed to change along with it.. was the ending like that in the novel too??
