Literally all this happened bc the king didn’t grieve properly with his daughter. He kept running away from his problems including the death of his wife which let Verona lost and upset. It’s no wonder she hated the second wife. If he had grieved properly and talked with her properly before he began courting again, we literally could have had a decent family. Sure the Second Lady is messed up bc king killed her beau but at least the daughters wouldn’t have hated each other.
