aside from a bit meh translation, the story is actually good. well, there’s a lot of grape between the mc and ml but it’s kinda what the story is about. like being cursed by someone and be haunted by the demon. what hurts to read is that the ml being graped by the grand duke. it feels agonizingly long. i also hate the fact that the grand duke is still protected by the power of angel. the angel was yapping about erwar giving into temptation of the demons just because of a LITTLE hardship (losing a friend, losing his whole family, getting betrayed by his uncle, being graped by the grand duke, being assassinated by the queen) and everything not being black and white is so fucking annoying. honestly i really hate how they uses “god’s plan” just to justify why they’re still keeping the real evil alive and purging someone who actually suffered because of that evil. whether it’s god’s plan or not, it’s bad enough that too many people has suffered because of the actual evil doer.
anyway, i actually understand god’s plan isn’t just so linear and humans will actually encounter ups and downs throughout it, but it really made me understood those humans who actually gave up because they can no longer stand the suffering.
