It's not supposed to boo the end is just another beginning of the storyline type shi
This is more of his origin story. Its important for the rest that we see how he came to be and how those deaths affected him.
I just started this and feel like I got thrown into something, thats missing the whole beginning, man
I feel like I should be sad, seeing the people in ch1 die but I don't know them - where is the getting to know them? ToT
I'll give it a few more chapters to maybe make more sense
