Ukes sudden devotion to the seme does not feel earned at all. That seme is also a being who doesn’t have normal human emotions and kills innocent ppl but his actions actually damage how the uke views him once he find out and ukes continued association with him makes a lot more sense in the context of that story. This author just did not hit the mark.
