i honestly forgot everything i wanted to say the moment it was revealed that hamil conspired with the demon god (whatever they were called). i just felt so heartbroken and betrayed. i knew hamil doesn't have a chance with yeon but reading how yeon cherished him, i felt so bad for him. yeon most likely cherished him like a little brother/bestfriend so i at least wanted him to be happy by her side as a friend so when it was revealed that he was one of the antagonists—fuck, i hated it so much. i hated that the manhwa went into the direction of him being a villain. thankfully, he got reincarnated and was still reunited with yeon, the empress. that was still considered a happy ending for him.
next was the part where master nahora implied that wol-ah definetly knew yeon was a women and despite that, she still admitted her love for yeon. i couldn't stop crying because i thought she really won't be reincarnated anymore and i felt heartbroken for her. thankfully, there was a way to bring her soul back to the rebirth cycle (AND she also ended up with another woman im so happy for her!!)
choran and hae-eon too. i'm so fucking glad they didn't die.
lastly, i'm so elated with that panel of yeon announcing that the new emperor was a woman hahaha i'm so fucking happy they showed her abs and biceps i would've hated it if she was shown to have a feminine-like body (not that its not okay but i think it would go agains the whole point of the manhwa)
i honestly don't know what to say about yeon and doha's relationship. like i genuinely don't know whatbto say because they really made me feel all emotions and every interaction they had was so close to my heart. i am also happy that biseol is able to stay by yeon's side. althought he may have little to none chance to become yeon's consort, it's still fortunate that he still holds a special place in yeon's heart and yeon will forever cherish him.
overall, i really enjoyed reading this manhwa (to a point that i really sacrificed not studying just to finish it) and at the same time it broke my heart. i couldn't stop my tears reading about their lives: after rebirth or after the trials because they all have been through so much. (/TДT)/
