I assume its the same reason why the anime ends around this point. Idk how far the novel goes, but a similar case is happening with <I Favor The Villainess>. Its in its final arc rn in the manga but in the novel, its at it's halfway point. (I agree with that decision honestly for <I Favor The Villainess> specifically)

So it's a way to make us read the novel?

If you want to, generally the latter half of the novel of <I Favor The Villainess> could just be seen as something extra and I bet they wanted to end the manga in the current arc because it just ties in everything nicely.
