Everyone see fans dissecting every single panel, labeling a casual hug, act of care, or confirmed platonic bond as “romantic coding,” insulting anyone who disagrees, and calling people homophobic just because they see the story exactly as it was written. This spreads the harmful stereotype that queer people over‑analyze every interaction, twist basic kindness into romance, and can’t accept deep platonic bonds. Even innocent queer antishippers who only want actual canon representation instead of made‑up interpretations end up lumped in and judged unfairly, even though we never supported this behavior.
Also insultment will never change the fact It actively erases and undermines the real queer representation we already have.
Refusing to listen or engage with facts doesn’t change the truth: Witch Atelier is not a BL or GL series, and the bond between Olly and Qifrey has never been confirmed as romantic. Every line, gesture, or moment you cite as “proof” can easily and reasonably be read as deep platonic love, there’s always room for debate.
