Also, did anyone else notice the scarf Noah was wearing? It's the one River handmade for him but back then he told her not to bother making personal gifts next time and to keep their relationship professional.

I haven’t read the novel (if there’s any), but I hope the ending will be different from other stories where MC and FL still ended up together. Like wtf?! Noah may be a good father to his kids but he was so toxic towards River.
On the other hand we have Julian who was there for her and eventually for Alex, too. No demands, no push and pull situation, he was just there looking after them. Julian isn’t just a green flag, he’s a lush forest.
I understand how their lives are so entangled but I hope this ends in a blended family kind of setup where River and Noah are civil towards each other for the kids.
River better not be doing this to shield herself and Alex from Noah.
