enigma isn't both omega and alpha, enigmas are basically alphas who can impregnate other alphas (and omegas of course)
An Enigma isn't both alpha and omega. An Enigma is basically the superior of all secondary genders that can impregnate both alphas and omegas. They don't exist in every universe but in the stories I've read with Enigmas, they are basically alphas who have the ability to dominate other alphas.

Really? I saw a manga in which a enigma was someone who could switch between an alpha and a omega, but anyway the concept vary from author to author so it can be both, but I think I saw they depicted like u said too
There's the " bitching" ( I don't know how to spell it ) concept too, it's when a alpha wants to be an omega, so they receive high levels of pheromone from another alpha and are marked after changing, but in this case the alpha that was " biched" (hell this term is FUGLY) will never be able to be a alpha again or separate from the alpha who changed him
