I really hope there's a vol 2 asw! While I get your point, leaving it here is so abrupt(⊙…⊙ ) My concern is how Kazuma is not protecting himself by setting clear boundaries when he is in the more vulnerable position of being tied up. Even Masaki states how he fears doing something that would hurt Kazuma. The story build up was good but ending off on ch 6 is such wasted potential. Again, could be easily resolved with another volume fleshing out their relationship.
if anything i hope that, in the event this story is continued, the bondage and bdsm elements don't just fall to the wayside to make space for a typical vanilla relationship but are instead integrated into their future romantic relationship. especially with the advent of dom/subverse or whatever it's called, it's so rare to find a good, more realistic bdsm BL nowadays.
I rlly do hope we get a vol2 but also even if not I dont think they didnt define the relationship. Kazuma choose to compromise to make his partner comfortable, them only staying as partner for now is not a bad thing. Since they both love eachother, is just a matter of Masaki coming to terms with how to handle himself as a lover and a partner
Is a realistic ending if you ask me, bc if he wouldve just done a 180 and decided to date it wouldve felt rushed. He clearly wasnt ready and is not something that could be solved in a few pages of the last chapter
