glad to see someone else upset about this, too. agree with everything you say. it’s extremely disappointing to see the normalisation of such a harmful tool, to the point where it’s expected to be in manhwas, by people (i.e. artists) who are affected by it the most in terms of jobs

if it helps a bit i read a manhwa where one of the main leads were talking bad abt chatgpt.. smth like how his ideas were so dumb he probably talked to chatgpt I THINK im not too sure.

A big fan of these short, usually underdeveloped stories featuring a playboy seme, but the ai chat box... that MAKES 2 stories I have read this week that mention generative ai and that is 2 too many. I hate how normalized and EXPECTED it is to be using it. I would think artists should be against ai but apparently not. It is especially not something that should be used to "discuss" human emotions, thoughts or feelings because it is just an enabling tool that will tell you what you want to hear each and every time. Can't believe we're loosing natural resources just because people can't be creative or articulate their own feelings. Now I'm put off from reading current stories due to these ai mentions.
