I love the red head and how he doesn't let his (healthy?) envy and competitiveness in the way of feeling proud and protective of his teammate. He does have feelings of inferiority and insecurities but he doesn't let those become his whole personality, he's so much more, but it seems that will play a huge deal in the dynamic he has with his sunbae.
Pretty sure the sunbae is a sadist and red head has masochistic tendencies... Nobody full green in this story.
