Can I ask, were you saying she is written by a man because she's portrayed as vain?
First thing that made me think the author's a guy was when she said "I've also heard women have certain days where they just want to let themselves look disheveled". 'Heard' like she's not a woman herself lol. And from there she's just being unreasonably irritating for me. Is that the word for it, vain? I guess so then, yeah.
Unfortunately petty things like that bother me hence I call it mid. But I'm sure most people don't care and can enjoy it. Who doesn't like survival stories.
Well usually in some writings, women are portrayed as 'vain,' useless or putting too much importance to outward appearance. I get that it would be unsuitable to say being a woman herself (a pick me). Though I feel that in the context she doesn't seem to relate to any normal person because of her status.
But you mentioned a good point there, I'm conflicted how I will approach this manga from now on. This was a good talk, thanks!
