Definitely a communication issue but I also understand this is an omegaverse. I can see why he so hesitate and afraid. The MC is very cautious maybe too cautious. But let's not pretend its all his fault either the ML isn't saying anything either. In alot of omegaverse the alphas will cheat on their other alpha spouse with an omega because its "instinct." Also either hes turning into an omega or hes already one but pregnant.
