Just checked up on this cause I remember seeing it a long time ago and not finishing it- wdym the author does a cop out move and makes alternate endings?? That’s something you do for side stories not main story. Like choosing one person for the canon main ending then providing alternate route for a side story to satisfy whichever fans.

Did the author not have the balls to make anything canon?? Too worried about the fandom’s opinion? Treating this like a dating game smh.

Edit:
Now I just finished looking at both routes and ngl I can see the author has favoritism towards misaki. Both routes have the same over dramatic nonsense of misaki trying to jump off a damn cliff. Even in ririna’s route, mc has a whole heartfelt rejection. But in misaki’s route, mc is quite emotionless and has quick rejection towards ririna. Ririna is not seen again after that. Ririna’s route overall has less scenes. The one big scene is only the last chapter of her arc where she gets a wedding instead of misaki and possibly 2 kids compared to misaki getting one.

Imma be real with how detailed misaki’s route was compared to ririna’s the author probably had her in mind as endgame and instead wanted to please fans making alternate routes instead of one main one. Anyways my opinion on this is that it didn’t need to be dragged out for nearly 300 chapters just to give this cop out ending. Plus I hated both mc and misaki. Mc is self explanatory cause of the back and forth indecisiveness for so long. And misaki- so dramatic and selfish for what. Everyone around has to be considerate of her and her feelings like she’s a baby.
