Nah man, he is a wimp and a loser and she is a badass with a more nonchalant attitude. Like I said, if you ever read Dandandan, it's kinda like that, however it reminds me of the cringier parts of the romance IMO. There was a potential for subtle bl, especially bcs there are a lot of cool tropes in here, like enemies to lovers or power imbalance, that could lead to some juicy boy's love, but the author chose to have a safer straight power fantasy romance so wtv.

I hate when authors push the straight plots. They did the same with Kayden in Eleceed. Kayden and Kartein had such a HIGH potential but no they had to be homophobic and push Kayden into straight romance smh

You know ball, my guy. They keep insisting on these flavourless romances and become blind to the possibilities of exploring actually interesting relationships bcs of heteronormativity.

The author of Eleceed did the biggest queerbait ever. They made Kayden and Kartein so close, coparents, the way Kayden came to save Kartein, the way Kayden only had Kartein's number saved. Smh if they were going for straight romance they should've done so from the beginning by giving Gestella Kartein's role. BUT NO they absolutely HAD to queerbait us. Sorry for the random rant this topic just always makes me rage

It's okay, I was interested in reading Eleceed, but if I'm just going to get ragebaited by it I think I'llpass, so I'm glad you said something.

Overall it's a great manhwa except for the forced romance concept

what am I reading here ?!?! Havent read eleceed in ages but wtf. Now Kayden has a love interest? I knew that jinwoo would eventually end up with that older girl but why force kayden into a relationship? there was literally no need/demand for that- low key turns me off from picking that webtoon up again any time soon

Ikr :( I put it on hold after chapter 300. They forced Kayden with Gestella. It's like her character was created only to be Kayden's love interest. Her own backstory? None. Atleast Jiwoo and the noona's (forgot her name) looks good. But Kayden's is just forced heteronormality. Kayden and Kartein have the best chemistry smh

This is why I literally dropped Eleceed, cuz I want me some ACTION with only ACTION. Not mixed with some random shoehorned romance that isn't even necessary, and doesn't even fit any of the characters. And it eventually gets highlighted to the point that it makes the scenes look awkward whenever the couple is around, it suddenly lovey duvet tension or wtv
